Happy Jack

Jack is getting very vocal (and louder) by the day. At the moment, his vocabulary mostly consists of "Dada", "Yeah", "Hi" and something resembling "dog". And because he is fast and can get into everything, I use the pack and play as I gather all our stuff to head out the door in the morning. Here's some photos from the other morning before school. He's almost a year! Party photos to be posted after his birthday this weekend.

Fourth of July at the Hueys

We had a rain-soaked but fun July 4th at the Hueys. Greg's ribs were fabulous as always, and we ended the meal with Tiff's wonderful strawberry shortcake. (See Miles and Mollie -- and Morgan -- eating above). It was also Baby Roark's party debut - five months old already. Jack and Roark will be tearing it up together soon. :) It cleared up enough later for Miles to see the fireworks, which he was pretty excited about. Great day!

Go Lakers!

There was some serious betting going on (it started back in Bermuda) between Jesse (Lakers' fan) and Vin/Jen (Celtics' fans). Here's the photo Jesse sent Vin and Jenny after Game Seven. I hope they are still talking to us. :)

Lasagne Coated Jack

I'm not sure that this post needs much explanation. All I have to say is that I should be in a Tide commercial, because that shirt is now pretty clean. For those wondering how he got that way, let's just say I was away that week on business.

The Boys Meet Cousin Henry

Derek and Martina came down to visit for Memorial Day weekend and brought Henry -- Miles' and Jack's new cousin! Henry was about two months old in these photos. He's a sweet little boy and we're excited to watch him grow. In a few years, we'll hardly notice the age difference between Miles and Jack. It was hard to get a photo of Jack and Henry together, so I threw one of Jack by himself at the end. Jack's favorite thing to do is crawl around and steal sippy cups that Miles leaves laying around the house (and it drives Miles crazy). The hat is from Jesse's high school collection. Hopefully we will see them again later in the summer!

Bermuda!

After a hiatus of a few months, I am back and trying to catch up from the last several months. In May, we went to Bermuda for Ken and Emmy's wedding. It was gorgeous and just looking at the photos makes me want to go back. I didn't have my camera with me during the actual wedding, so I only have a few photos (Jesse took more). Here's a few photos of the boys in their suits before the wedding, Miles (ringbearer) taking a quick nap in between the ceremony and reception, and a few scenic shots of the pool and beach. It was a perfect vacation!

I'm Too Cool

So, according to Jesse, I broke the rules of blogging tonight by posting 10 different sets of photos at once, rather then spacing them out. I generally agree, but I was so far behind, I had to catch up. I pledge to be better for the last 8 months of 2010. Until then, I thought I would sign off with Miles...

Is that Jack?

Is that Jack? Are you letting him drive a 1970s car? Nope, it's Jesse. I just thought I should clear up who he looks like. Jack might have my blue eyes, but otherwise, I think he's a lot of Pannoni.

We Love Laura

I've got to give Laura some blog time. She spends so much wonderful time with the boys and they love her, she needs a shout out. She's starting to teach at YCA next week, so the boys will see her every day!

Taking Advantage of Down Time

Three 2010 ear infections and some routine appointments = Amy and Jack spending a lot of time in the Polyclinic waiting room and exam room during the last four months. I happened to have my camera in the diaper bag a few weeks ago and got some good shots of Jack while we waited for Dr. Longo. I know these four are not that different, but I am in enough deep water with the grandparents for not posting photos, I figured I might as well post four good ones while I have them.

Ryan's Annual Birthday Celebration

Uncle Ryan turned the very old 27, and we went out for our annual birthday brunch to Salty's with Lisha and Ryan. I love these photos because Jack looks so small. We all had a great time and love the tradition!

Bath time with the Boys

One thing that Miles and Jack both love is the bath. The photos are self-explanatory!

Miles and His Friends

As all of Miles' friends have turned three and are now approaching four, I cannot believe how adult they have all gotten! Here are some cute ones of Lila, Mollie, Miles and Theo (from Easter). No one would look at the camera at the same time (except for cooperative Theo), so here are a few shots.
