I'm Too Cool
So, according to Jesse, I broke the rules of blogging tonight by posting 10 different sets of photos at once, rather then spacing them out. I generally agree, but I was so far behind, I had to catch up. I pledge to be better for the last 8 months of 2010. Until then, I thought I would sign off with Miles...
Is that Jack?
Is that Jack? Are you letting him drive a 1970s car? Nope, it's Jesse. I just thought I should clear up who he looks like. Jack might have my blue eyes, but otherwise, I think he's a lot of Pannoni.
We Love Laura
I've got to give Laura some blog time. She spends so much wonderful time with the boys and they love her, she needs a shout out. She's starting to teach at YCA next week, so the boys will see her every day!
Taking Advantage of Down Time
Three 2010 ear infections and some routine appointments = Amy and Jack spending a lot of time in the Polyclinic waiting room and exam room during the last four months. I happened to have my camera in the diaper bag a few weeks ago and got some good shots of Jack while we waited for Dr. Longo. I know these four are not that different, but I am in enough deep water with the grandparents for not posting photos, I figured I might as well post four good ones while I have them.
Ryan's Annual Birthday Celebration
Uncle Ryan turned the very old 27, and we went out for our annual birthday brunch to Salty's with Lisha and Ryan. I love these photos because Jack looks so small. We all had a great time and love the tradition!
Miles and His Friends
As all of Miles' friends have turned three and are now approaching four, I cannot believe how adult they have all gotten! Here are some cute ones of Lila, Mollie, Miles and Theo (from Easter). No one would look at the camera at the same time (except for cooperative Theo), so here are a few shots.
Happy Easter!
We had a very fun Easter brunch with our Seattle family and friends. A number of Miles' and Jack's friends came over for a frenetic Easter egg hunt. Some kids went for quantity, some went for quality (the dollar bill eggs), the adults went for mimosas and bloody marys. As you will see from the photos, it was tough getting the Under 5 age group (Miles' friends) to look at the camera. The Under 1 age group (Jack's friends) pretty much just ate, drooled, crawled and observed. We were lucky to have so many friends in town this year. Happy Easter!
Baking Easter Cookies
Miles assisted me in making cookies for Easter. He figured out what happens when you turn the KitchenAid on high speed after putting in the dry ingredients (you get coated in flour). Here are some photos of the aftermath. He had a good time in spite of his surprise....
Asleep....
Asleep...I bet that's what everyone thinks I have been doing for the last few months. I know it has been January since I posted. Things are good, just busy. Jesse and I were both back at work by February. Jack's been doing great at school, but battling colds, new teeth and ear infections as we got through the winter and spring cold season. Miles is growing quickly and talking a mile a minute, negotiating with his parents at every chance. Jesse smashed his toe playing pick-up basketball in March and needed surgery (do not feel too badly for him, he forgot how old he was and assumed the risk). And I'm just enjoying kids, wine, and the spring weather. I'll try to make up for my delinquent ways by posting a number of different photos over the course of the weekend. I've got to catch up before we get to Ken and Emmy's May Bermuda wedding!
